World Cup 2030 Simulator: Play the Qualifiers and Predict the Centenary Champion

The 2030 FIFA World Cup marks 100 years since the first tournament in Uruguay. Morocco, Portugal and Spain will host the competition, while Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay each stage a centenary opening match — the first World Cup ever spread across three continents. This simulator lets you play the whole road there, from the continental qualifiers through the final draw to the trophy itself.

48 or 64 Teams — You Decide

FIFA has not yet settled the size of the 2030 tournament. The current format is 48 teams in twelve groups of four, with the top two and the eight best third-placed teams reaching the round of 32. CONMEBOL has proposed expanding to 64 teams for the centenary, which would mean sixteen groups and a straight run to the round of 32. Because the decision is still open, this simulator supports both: choose your format before kick-off and see how differently the tournament plays out.

Every Nation, Every Qualifier

All 211 FIFA member associations are included, rated from the official FIFA/Coca-Cola Men's World Ranking. Play through the qualifying competitions of all six confederations — AFC, CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA — plus the inter-confederation play-off that decides the last two places. Six hosts qualify automatically, leaving 42 places to be won. Follow your nation's campaign group by group, or simulate an entire confederation at once.

A Realistic Simulation Engine

Matches are simulated with a rating-based model that accounts for attacking and defensive strength, home advantage, fatigue and squad availability. Group tables follow FIFA's official tie-breaking criteria, applying head-to-head results before overall goal difference, exactly as the regulations require. Knockout ties go to penalties when level, and the bracket honours the real pairing rules.

Build your bracket, crown your champion, and share your prediction for the centenary World Cup. You can also still play the 2026 World Cup simulator.
